Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike popularly known as (Phyno) is a Nigerian rappar, Singer, songwriter and record producer, born on 9th October 1986 in Enugu, Nigeria. He received his elementary and secondary education in Enugu, he then studied Public Administration at institute of management and Technology in Enugu, According to him the stage name Phyno which is derived from the word "Phenomenal", was the nickname given to him by one of his high school friend named Emeka.
The super star developed an interest for music production during his secondary school days, he initially wanted to become a pilot, and he learnt how to play the drums and piano in high school. The super star relocated from Enugu to Lagos in 2008.
Phyno started his music career as a producer but later switch to rap which Mr Raw, Illbliss and MI abaga inspired him to rap music, as a producer Phyno worked with artists like Timaya, Flavour, Ruggedman, bracket, J martins and Mr Raw.
