Admission Requirements

Candidate who is seeking admission into Ebonyi State University must meet the following University Admission requirements

  • Must be upto 16 year of age on or before applying for any admission in the institution

  • Must meet University and department requirements


 

UME Requirements



  • Credit passes in at least 5 subjects including English and Mathematics at either the WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE obtained at not two sitting. Mathematics is Compulsory for all sciences based Courses.

  • In addition to paragraph (i) above, the candidate must obtain a good score at the UME.


Direct Entry Requirements


Candidate seeking admission into direct entry programme of the University must possess

  • The above requirement (i) in addition, the candidate must possess at least two subjects at the Advanced level or HSC. The credit passed at ‘O’ level must include English Language and Mathematics

  • National Diploma (ND) with a minimum pass at Merit level from any recognized institution. In addition the candidate must have Five (5) ‘O’ level credits passes in English and Mathematics.
